Rebecca Dennis, LPC, ATR-BC, LCADC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Montclair, New Jersey. I offer a range of therapeutic approaches depending on your needs.  Together we will target the issues that bring you into therapy and seek solutions in a timely manner.  

I have over 10 years experience with a wide variety of issues however I specialize in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use and general life transitions utilizing evidence-based approaches. I have training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), creative arts therapy, family therapy and substance abuse treatment.  I work with adults, children and families.

Along with my License as a Professional Counselor (LPC) I am also a Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). My past experience includes providing long term therapy to children and families in a K-12 public school setting as well as a community mental health clinic.  I also have experience working on both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings servicing both psychiatric and chemically dependent patients.
